New labour alliances

The relationship between the Canadian Farmworkers Union and the BC labour movement was strong throughout its history. The Union also exerted influence upon the labour movement by raising issues of systemic racism and forming alliances on issues outside the context of union organizing. The CFU had a profound effect on the direction that BC labour later took as an agent of social change.
